The challenge was visible in the scale of the space: high walls, sloped ceilings and tall windows alongside existing timber and stone details. The collection records exposed framing, protected floors and preparation before the painted views.

The visible result

The matched fireplace-window and staircase views show the transition clearly. Later photographs show painted walls and ceilings, while renovation materials and unfinished details remain visible. These are after-painting views, not a claim that the entire renovation is complete.
