Start with the surface underneath

A fresh painted finish starts with the condition of the wall. Drywall work and taping belong in the project conversation before colours and the final coat. Tell us which rooms or wall areas need attention so the preparation and painting can be considered together.

  • Drywall work for your interior project
  • Taping and finishing joints
  • Surface preparation before priming and painting

Drywall work and painting in one plan

You can request drywall and taping on its own or include it in a room repaint. If painting is part of the project, identify the walls, ceilings, trim or doors you want included. This helps us discuss where the drywall work ends and which surfaces will receive a painted finish.

Your written estimate sets out the work agreed for your space. The painting estimate guide explains how to list surfaces, describe their current condition and compare the preparation included.

What to share when requesting an estimate

Send your town or community, the rooms involved and a short description of the work you need. A wide photograph shows the room; closer views can show the surfaces you want addressed. Mention whether the home is occupied, furniture needs to be moved or a room must remain accessible.

Include your preferred timing and whether you want painting included. We will confirm the project scope in your free written estimate. See our service areas for the communities we serve.

See real preparation work

Our wall and ceiling preparation photographs show work in progress from a real project. The vaulted-interior collection also follows surface preparation through to painted walls and ceilings, with the wider renovation still underway.
